TRIVIA: "e.g."

   I usually see this set of letters "e.g."  in some sentences like for instance.


 "You may be required to bring the following, e.g., notebook, ballpen, paper, pencil, etc."


 So that underlined word came from a Latin word which means "exempli gratia" , in English "for example".
